InfraSound Analyzer turns your microphone into a window on the low-frequency world: wind, machinery, weather and heavy traffic that your ears can't pick up. Watch it live, log every event, and keep a report.
3D view · built-in demo signal · 7 Hz + 12 Hz infrasound
Press record. Everything else happens on screen, in real time.
A smooth, glowing view of 0–100 Hz as it happens, with the infrasound zone marked so you know exactly where to look.
Your recording rendered as a lit 3D terrain. Infrasound rises as glowing ridges you can orbit and zoom.
Every real infrasound spike is logged with time, frequency and level. The app ignores the fake peaks a filter edge can create.
Every recording is saved automatically with audio, per-second band levels, categories and notes, all stored on your device.
A clean report with charts, events, settings and your notes, ready for a landlord, a council or an engineer.
No special microphone yet? The demo plays a real infrasound signal through the analyzer so you can see everything it does.
The display uses a perceptual colour scale from black through violet and orange to white-hot. The teal line marks 20 Hz: everything below it is infrasound.
Track down a hum, a throb or pressure from a heat pump, furnace or nearby industry, and keep a dated record.
Wind turbines, generators, traffic. Turn "I can feel it" into a report with times, frequencies and levels.
Spot low-frequency vibration from fans, compressors and ducting before you open anything up.
Weather fronts, thunder, ocean surf, big engines. A perfect classroom and hobby instrument.
Most phone and laptop mics fade out below about 20 Hz. The app switches off the audio processing that hides low sounds, but for serious infrasound work, use a measurement microphone.
A measurement mic that plugs straight into a phone. Affordable and portable.

UMIK-1 details →Rated down to 0.2 Hz and works with iPhone. True infrasound capture at a lab-grade price.

Sound below 20 Hz, too low for human hearing. It comes from wind, storms, surf, earthquakes, large engines, fans, compressors and turbines. People sometimes feel it as pressure, vibration or unease before they can name it.
Partly. Built-in mics respond weakly below about 20 Hz, so you'll see strong sources and the low-frequency band above them clearly. For reliable infrasound, a measurement microphone makes a big difference (see Microphones above). The app never invents readings: an empty log means nothing real was detected.
No. Analysis, recordings and reports all happen in your browser, on your device. There's no account and no server storing your sound.
Levels are relative dB readings, great for comparing times, places and sources. They aren't calibrated sound-pressure measurements, and the reports say so clearly.
Any modern browser with microphone access: Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone. The 3D view needs WebGL, which almost every device has.
Pay once through Stripe's secure checkout, and you're sent straight back to the app with Pro switched on. You also get an unlock code, so you can turn on Pro on another device or browser.
